Who we are

The Regents Park Time Bank (RPTB) is a grassroots self-help charity rooted in the diverse and dynamic Regents Park Ward in Camden, London. Since our founding in 2005, we’ve been dedicated to fostering trust, mutual respect, and cooperation among neighbours by promoting the exchange of time, skills, and knowledge.

What we do

Our Key Programmes

Supporting families with children under 12 through engaging events and activities.

Organising low-cost, accessible and creative family friendly and child orientated activity programmes with regular trips off the estate during school holidays open to local families with children under 12 years.

Under 5s Support

Supporting families who have children under 5 years with tailored activities and drop-in sessions.

Organising a self-help Under 5’s Group, providing baby and toddler activities and trips with a dedicated Early Years Worker.

Organising events bringing the different generations together building mutual trust and new friendships, learning from each other at events such as our Grandparents Day in October.

Time members are key to delivering a wide range of community and children’s activities, trips, events and workshops. Volunteers receive induction, training and ongoing support from more established members and encouraged to share their skills with others.

Tackling Food Insecurity

Tackling food insecurity through monthly community lunches, skills-based learning preparing healthy meals on a budget and accessing low-cost food via new Food Coops.

Workshops such as Kids in the Kitchen teach young people how to prepare low-cost meals that are healthy and tasty!
