Puppet-Making & Storytelling – 22nd August 2025
We made some felt sock puppets in the morning that were sewn and glued and larger newspaper puppets in the afternoon using tape and PVA and decorated with coloured paper. The sock-felt puppets were people and the newspaper puppets were animals with children creating their own storytelling legends and inspired worlds where animals and people could talk to each other and we learnt why the elephant got her trunk or the tiger her stripes

Cookery Club at the Story Garden
The Cookery Club with community chef- Chaneti – has produced some amazing vegetarian two course healthy meals including a very tasty apple crumble (see above).

Using Natural Dyes from plants and vegetables produce highly colourful results especially when combined with pressed flowers
