Our “Little Fingers” Under 5s Play Group runs on Thursdays, 1.00–3.00pm (term-time only) at the Regents Park Children’s Centre, Augustus Street, London NW1 3TJ. Here’s our July 2026 update – including our new Families for Life Champions – supported by the Community Response Fund 2026.
Our Families for Life Champions
Congratulations to Fatema and Hajana, who were given certificates by the Mayor of Camden as our Families for Life Champions. They completed 6 weeks of volunteer training to give them the skills and knowledge to champion healthy activities, nutrition and wellbeing in our local community.
Looking back at our pilot
We are currently evaluating our 6-month Little Fingers pilot play group project. We would welcome your feedback and ideas to help with our future planning and fundraising.
We hope to restart Little Fingers later in the year, once our Families Summer Programme has finished. We would like to thank Chyrel Williams, Locality Manager, and all the lovely staff at the Regents Park Children’s Centre.
The RPTB Reading Challenge
Do you lack confidence in reading to your children? Would you like a trained volunteer to help you? Doorstep Library is a small registered charity whose volunteer readers are willing to make a home visit. Please see Fatema for more information and if you’d like to be referred.
Family Activities Summer Programme 2026
There will be no playgroup over the school holidays. Instead, we will be running a family programme from Tuesday 21st July to Thursday 27th August 2026, Tuesdays to Thursdays at Dick Collins Hall, Robert Street, NW1 3FB. On Tuesday mornings we have storytelling for under 7s with Tales with Tracy.
