Our “Little Fingers” Under 5s Play Group runs every Thursday, 1.00–3.00pm (term-time only) at the Regents Park Children’s Centre, August Street, London NW1 3TJ. It’s a free, inclusive play session in a safe and welcoming space – here’s some of what’s been happening.
Healthy Movers with Fatema
New exercise sessions with Fatema are helping you and your baby & toddler get fitter and happier, every Thursday.
A musical session with Caroline
Caroline is a well-known local children’s musician who always aims to make music fun, lively and unforgettable for everyone involved. She sings accompanied by her guitar and has a huge repertoire, and sessions always start with a sing-along to get things moving!
Refugee Week 2026
To mark Refugee Week, Aruzo read her Lila’s Two Homes story. She also gave out a delicious Afghan snack of home-made cheese with mint leaves and raisins.
The RPTB Reading Challenge
Do you lack confidence in reading to your children? Would you like a trained volunteer to help you? Doorstep Library is a small registered charity whose volunteer readers are willing to make a home visit. Please see Fatema for more information and if you’d like to be referred.
Our aims: to offer free inclusive children’s play sessions in a safe and welcoming space; to reach residents not already engaged with mainstream or community services; to make it easier for residents to find help early and feel better connected; and to enable people to access support close to home.
