Children’s Christmas Party – Sunday 22nd December 2024

The grand finale of 2024 was our highly successful Children’s Christmas Party on Sunday 22nd December A fitting ending to the year!

52 children (ages 11 weeks to 12 years of age)
31 families
22 children (5 years and under)
58 presents given out by Santa and his Elves

Alessio (Fekir’s husband) was the fantastic Santa ably supported by their sons (Gabriel and Giona) as Elves kept busy for several hours in Santa’s Grotto. Fekir acted as a diplomatic and sensitive manager to ensure that every family and every child 5 years and under received a present.

Marina with her assistant Vida prepared huge amounts of home-made chicken nuggets, samosas and party food given out by time bank volunteers.

Dina and Aruzo acted as Welcome Hosts (we had several newly referred families present) giving out Christmas Crackers and got the party going.

Souliha once again made an incredible Christmas Chocolate cake with real cocoa and ingredients.

Star of the Event must go to Super Sam who worked very hard to ensure all the many children were involved in party games and funny antics culminating in a wonderful Disco with a light machine!

My children thoroughly loved the party and we all felt part of an inclusive, welcoming big family!

We had young children of all ages from a 11 weeks old baby boy to energetic disco-mad 12 years olds/ Simply Lovely!

Lots of food, made many new friends with a lovely family atmosphere. Everybody welcomed, enjoying themselves and each other’s company.

My children always love coming to Time Bank events. It is our happy time after for us a difficult and challenging year
