JULY NEWSLETTER – 5th July 2025

EUSTON COMMUNITY HUB OPENS!

2—10 North Gower Street, NW1 2LU

This will be our new base where most of our activities will take place with on Tuesday afternoons (from 29th July) and all day Thursdays (from 24th July) throughout the Summer 2025. There is an activities and social area (The Hub) and a large hall (the Old Gym) for family yoga and fitness sessions as well as badminton.

36 people took part in our Open Evening despite the heatwave with 73 ideas for different activities, trips and menus placed on post-it notes. Marina made a very tasty noodle and vegetable meal that was followed by lovely ripe strawberries. We also had a chocolate birthday cake as it was Abbas’s birthday! Nora and Tuli were our guests from Sharing Spaces.

If you were unable to attend our Open Evening and have ideas for trips and activities and or want to offer your skills and time please get in touch with us asap

We will be based in the Classroom building in the Story Garden, Ossulston St (back of the British Library) over the Summer on Tuesdays from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm starting on 29th July. If you are unsure of where it is we will be meeting outside the new Euston Community Hub at 11 am every Tuesday to walk over to the Story Garden. At the Story Garden with the help of an Educational Gardener and a Community Chef from Global Generation we plan to run Gardening and Cookery Club sessions.

There will be a free healthy lunch at 1.30 pm.
