The Regents Park Time Bank delivered 8 monthly Community Lunches on Sundays as part of a Regents Park Together local food initiative. Recently, the borough was found to be a lonely place despite its plethora of local organisations and cosmopolitan air. These lunches were well attended and provided opportunities for local residents of all ages and backgrounds to meet, make new friendships and receive extra help and support.
We are grateful to RPTB staff, Fatema and Aruzo, and our dedicated and committed volunteers who include Dina, Vida, Hajana, Siew Kit, and many other Time Bank members. A particular mention must be given to Marina, our fabulous Head Cook and Meals Organiser, who consistently provided a wide range of healthy and tasty meals.
